The conference will take place in the Salle des Colloques 1, Saint-Charles site, Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3.
This site has two entrances, situated on the rue du Professeur Henri Serre and Place Albert Ier : if coming by tram, please get off at the Place Albert 1er stop (lines 1 and 4).
The opening launch of the exhibition “Awa, une revue féminine pionnière. Sénégal, 1964-1973” will take place in the Bibliothèque universitaire Lettres et Sciences Humaines (Ramon Llull) at the Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 (Building S, see the campus map here).
Entrance is via the Campus de la Route de Mende. Via tram, get off at the Saint-Eloi stop (line 1), take the avenue du Docteur Pézet until the route de Mende, enter into the University through the gate, then continue straight ahead until the library entrance.
The city of Montpellier is well-connected by an airport and train station (Gare Saint-Roch), situated in the centre. The public transport consists primarily of bus and tramlines operated by la TAM. The city centre (known as l’écusson) is pedestrianised. Line 1 of the tramway goes from the Saint-Roch train station to the two main university sites: Saint Charles and the Route de Mende campus.
